Dr Cristina Stasia is a Senior Leadership Faculty member and Coach at KS Insight. She leverages over 20 years of expertise in leadership development, experiential education, and organizational strategy. She holds a Ph.D. from Syracuse University and an Executive Certificate in Public Leadership from Harvard University. She currently resides in Vancouver, where she builds and delivers leadership programs globally.

The former Director of Leadership Training and Program Development and a Lougheed Adjunct Professor at the Peter Lougheed Leadership College at the University of Alberta, she helped former Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Kim Campbell launch the college. In addition to building wildly successful graduate and executive leadership programs locally and internationally, she also created and taught the required leadership course for undergraduates entering the college and trained her interdisciplinary team of law and graduate fellows to teach leadership. Her teaching excellence has earned her numerous accolades, including being voted by students as one of the top three most inspiring professors at the University of Alberta.

Widely recognized for her ability to address how traditional constructions of leadership can limit both our effectiveness and our ability to innovate and lead in a rapidly changing–and increasingly discordant–world, her academic research focuses on integrating intersectional approaches. She draws from movements such as Black Power, feminism, and queer rights to challenge conventional leadership paradigms and foster meaningful systemic change. Through her consultancy, Level Leadership, she has worked with government ministries, municipalities, technology companies, law firms, global HR firms, and numerous educational institutions to design leadership strategies and training emphasizing equity, innovation, and adaptability.

Globally, Dr. Stasia has contributed to a variety of leadership programs, including creating custom leadership initiatives for Hong Kong-based companies, entrepreneurs in Madagascar, nursing faculty in Ghana, and mid-career executives in Canada’s engineering sector. Dr. Stasia has run for political office and served as chair of numerous city-appointed committees. She stands firmly at the intersection of the hard daily work of leadership and the joy of discovering new ways of seeing, understanding, and collaborating. Her work continues to inspire individuals and organizations to embrace inclusive leadership and navigate complex challenges effectively and courageously.
